A equipe da UFRRJ \u00e9 composta pelas professoras Juliane Souza e K\u00eania Maia (integrantes do Departamento de Direito, Humanidades e Letras do Instituto de Tr\u00eas Rios), bem como pelas alunas da gradua\u00e7\u00e3o Isabela Torreira e La\u00eds Pacheco.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A participa\u00e7\u00e3o da equipe n\u00e3o teria sido poss\u00edvel se n\u00e3o fosse o apoio e o empenho da Pr\u00f3Reitoria de Pesquisa e P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o, da Reitoria e de todos os setores administrativos da UFRRJ que, em um esfor\u00e7o conjunto, viabilizaram a inscri\u00e7\u00e3o da equipe nesse grande evento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Apesar de todo o contexto de crise pol\u00edtica, econ\u00f4mica e sanit\u00e1ria atualmente experimentado, o incentivo desses setores institucionais foi crucial para que a UFRRJ desse esse grande passo rumo \u00e0 expans\u00e3o dos direitos humanos e a sua difus\u00e3o no meio acad\u00eamico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Trata-se de um evento \u00fanico e tril\u00edngue (ingl\u00eas, espanhol e portugu\u00eas) que objetiva treinar estudantes de Direito no uso do sistema legal interamericano como um f\u00f3rum leg\u00edtimo para a repara\u00e7\u00e3o de viola\u00e7\u00f5es de direitos humanos. Desde seu in\u00edcio em 1995, a competi\u00e7\u00e3o treinou mais de 4800 estudantes e professores de mais de 360 universidades no mundo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A Competi\u00e7\u00e3o de Julgamento Simulado do Sistema Interamericano de Direitos Humanos 2021 \u00e9 estabelecida para avan\u00e7ar e promover o ensino jur\u00eddico dos direitos humanos ao redor do mundo, sendo baseada no Sistema Interamericano para a Prote\u00e7\u00e3o dos Direitos Humanos, nas obriga\u00e7\u00f5es legais contempladas na Conven\u00e7\u00e3o Americana sobre Direitos Humanos e na Declara\u00e7\u00e3o Americana dos Direitos e Deveres do Homem. Com base em um caso hipot\u00e9tico fornecido pelos organizadores da Competi\u00e7\u00e3o, os participantes devem apresentar um memorial escrito e participam de sess\u00f5es de defesa oral perante um painel de Ju\u00edzes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">O caso hipot\u00e9tico esse ano tem como tema \u201cDIREITOS HUMANOS E ESTADOS DE EMERG\u00caNCIA:<br \/>\nCRISE INESPERADA E NOVOS DESAFIOS\u201d, com profunda inspira\u00e7\u00e3o na pandemia mundial da COVID-19. O caso est\u00e1 dispon\u00edvel na p\u00e1gina: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcl.american.edu\/impact\/initiativesprograms\/hracademy\/portugues\/competicao-atual\/hypo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.wcl.american.edu\/impact\/initiativesprograms\/hracademy\/portugues\/competicao-atual\/hypo\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\nA primeira etapa da competi\u00e7\u00e3o j\u00e1 foi cumprida pela equipe, com envio de memorial para os avaliadores em 25\/03\/2021. A segunda etapa, que consiste em rodadas orais, come\u00e7aram no dia 16\/05\/2021 e seguir\u00e3o at\u00e9 o dia 28\/05\/ 2021.
